Nueva Vista Phoenix
Powerful Outcomes in Wellness, Education, & Recreation (POWER) is an after school program that has been recognized for excellence throughout Region 8 (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Kern Counties). We’ve been invited numerous times to present at conferences across our region and state, and have been highlighted and visited by many different after school entities. We provide safe, effective, innovative, & engaging learning, nutrition, and physical activity programs for DUSD students in grades TK-8.

Imagine and Play
Students will learn, explore, and build friendships through hands-on, play-based activities. They will enjoy a variety of learning centers, including dramatic play, blocks, art, sensory, literacy, math, science, and more.

Boomwhackers Music Instruction
Learn how to play a group instrument, the boomwhackers and read simple music. Students will learn cooperation, tracking music, music notation and techniques to do with rhythm and pitch.

Come and join our power of play and learning with our exciting after school Nintendo Switch class! Students will explore teamwork, problem solving, and creativity through fun, interactive games they love. It's a great way to make new friends, build confidence, and unwind after a busy school day. Whether they're racing, building, or adventuring, every session is packed with fun and laughter.

Dream, Play, Imagine
Need a break after school? Come relax, create, and play! Students will enjoy open-ended choice time exploring classroom centers including dramatic play, blocks, art, sensory activities, building challenges, games, and more. This club is designed to provide a fun, low-pressure environment where students can socialize, use their imagination, and recharge after a busy school day.
