Nueva Vista Phoenix
Powerful Outcomes in Wellness, Education, & Recreation (POWER) is an after school program that has been recognized for excellence throughout Region 8 (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Kern Counties). We’ve been invited numerous times to present at conferences across our region and state, and have been highlighted and visited by many different after school entities. We provide safe, effective, innovative, & engaging learning, nutrition, and physical activity programs for DUSD students in grades TK-8.

Create and Play
Students will create and play with a number of different things. Such as color books, legos, magnet blocks, playdoh and sand sensory create a scene bins! Students will work their minds and creativity skills everyday!

Little Professionals
In Little Professionals, TK–2nd grade students will experience what it’s like to be grown-ups for a day! Each week, they’ll dress up as a new community worker—like a doctor, firefighter, chef, or mail carrier—and explore the skills and tools used in each job. Through play-based learning and interactive activities, students will develop social skills, teamwork, and an appreciation for the many careers that make our community thrive.

Celebrate the magic of the season with Holiday Cheer, a fun and creative craft club. Join us for festive projects that spark imagination and bring joy. Fun Zone Club
In Fun Zone Club, the students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and engaging activities.
