Del Vista Dragons
Powerful Outcomes in Wellness, Education, & Recreation (POWER) is an after school program that has been recognized for excellence throughout Region 8 (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Kern Counties). We’ve been invited numerous times to present at conferences across our region and state, and have been highlighted and visited by many different after school entities. We provide safe, effective, innovative, & engaging learning, nutrition, and physical activity programs for DUSD students in grades TK-8.

Parents, PLEASE make sure to check the grade levels BEFORE registering. Please note that students that register for classes later than 2:30 pm will have to be picked up after school and dropped off for their class unless they attend the after school POWER program.

Sing Along!
Students will practice their vocal skills as we karaoke our way through the beat! They can sing as solos, sing as duets, or even create their own little groups to karaoke to. Students will get to choose the genre of music they'd like to sing their little hearts out to. Come on and join Sing Along so we can sing like the whole world is listening!!!!

Board Games & Art
Students will challenge each other with board games during this time, learning how to take turns and learn good sportsmanship whether winning or not!

Students can battle fellow students in Prodigy or catch up on Reflex and Frax.

GATE
GATE students will work together and independently with the chosen Interactive Unit for the duration of Session 2. They will produce a display for parents and the community at the GATE Festival.

Students will be preparing for the county and district STEAM Olympiad where they compete in various science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics competitions.
