La Viña Eagles
Powerful Outcomes in Wellness, Education, & Recreation (POWER) is an after school program that has been recognized for excellence throughout Region 8 (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Kern Counties). We’ve been invited numerous times to present at conferences across our region and state, and have been highlighted and visited by many different after school entities. We provide safe, effective, innovative, & engaging learning, nutrition, and physical activity programs for DUSD students in grades TK-8.

Parents/Guardians, please make sure to check the grade levels on classes before registering. Please note that students that register for classes that start 3:45pm or after will have to be picked up after school and dropped off for their class(es) unless they attend the after school POWER program.

Oral Language
The Oral Language Festival is a competitive event where students recite and perform an interpretation of a piece of children's literature. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to creatively express their love of literature using dramatic speaking skills. In addition, students gain confidence to perform for an audience.

Intervention - Math
Math Intervention provides students with targeted support to strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and close learning gaps. Through small-group instruction, hands-on practice, and personalized strategies, students develop the tools they need to succeed in their current and future math courses.
